Montana's is searching for a Purchasing Officer at our North Bay location. Job Title: Purchasing Officer Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Salary: $32.50 to $35.00 per hour, 35 to 40 hours per week Schedule: On call, Overtime, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend Job Description: • backss requirements and determine specifications of the materials and supplies that need to be purchased for the restaurant. • Collaborate with other departments to determine the restaurant’s procurement needs. • Coordinate with other restaurant staffs and monitor inventory. • Contact suppliers to request for relative information. • Review quotations, contracts, and orders from suppliers. • Negotiate price, terms, and conditions with suppliers. • Create purchase orders and ensure they accurately reflect the quantities, prices, and delivery terms negotiated with the suppliers. • Plan and oversee delivery schedules for materials and supplies acquired, monitor delivery progress, communicate with suppliers and logistics carriers, and resolve problems. • Review and process claims against suppliers. • Prepare reports and submit to restaurant manager. Job Requirement: • Minimum 3 years of work experience in purchasing officer or a similar role, experience in food service industry is preferred. • Minimum a college diploma in business administration, procurement, supply chain or a related subject is required. • Thorough understanding of materials and supplies used in food service business. • Strong knowledge.
