Job Title: Purchasing Officer Location: #130-xyz X North Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC, Canada V5J 0H1Salary: $35/hr; 40Hours per week Responsibilities:  Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing HVAC products and equipment in accordance with company policies and guidelines.  Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products while maintaining cost-effectiveness.  Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.  Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitoring performance and resolving any issues that arise.  Monitor inventory levels and optimize purchasing strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.  Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to forecast demand and ensure seamless procurement processes.  Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and pricing fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.  Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Requirements:  Minimum of 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree is required Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.  Proficient in using procurement software and tools for data analysis and reporting.  Experience in HVAC products is an asset Please send us your resume to xyz X@.
