Job Title: Public Relations Assistant Location: Jersey City, NJ Department: Public Relations Reports To: Public Relations Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Public Relations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our Public Relations department in executing communication strategies, building media relationships, and enhancing the company's brand presence. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced PR environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing PR campaigns and strategies. Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings. Maintain and update media contact lists and PR databases. Assist in the coordination of events, media interviews, and press conferences. Respond to media inquiries and liaise with journalists under the guidance of the PR Manager. Support the creation and scheduling of content for social media platforms. Assist with internal communications and help prepare reports on campaign performance. Handle general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing PR tools. Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms. Familiarity with PR software (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) is a plus.
