The firm boasts a robust public finance practice, particularly in Healthcare Finance, Economic Development, Housing, TIF and Special Assessment, Infrastructure, and Education. This position involves representing borrowers, issuers, financial institutions, and other entities in public finance transactions.LocationMilwaukee, WIDutiesProvide counsel on public finance transactions as bond counsel, lender’s counsel, and disclosure counsel.Collaborate with state agencies, municipalities, and governmental entities.Draft and review legal documents related to public finance.Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.Manage matters efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.Engage in direct interaction with partners and clients.Requirements3-5 years of experience in public finance.Experience with bond counsel, lender’s counsel, and disclosure counsel roles.Familiarity with state agencies, municipalities, and governmental entities.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school.CertificationsActive member of the bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.Timely admission to the bar coinciding with the office of hire is required.SkillsStrong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.Excellent matter management capabilities.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.Exceptional work ethic and resourcefulness.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package (details to be provided during the interview process).Opportunities for professional growth and development.
