Inpatient Psychiatrist Opening(s) in West Plains, Missouri _x000D_ - Located: Springfield 100m_x000D x000D_ Position Details: _x000D x000D_- 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, excellent support staff, generous package_x000D_- Located in West Plains, MO - 100 miles from Springfield, MO_x000D_- Looking to employ two inpatient psychiatrist to cover our adult (18 & over) 22-bed adult psych unit_x000D_- Full-time position with very limited call_x000D_- Call is provided by the hospitalist from 9pm to 7am_x000D_- Inpatient unit support staff consist of 1 nurse manager, 2 RNS, 1 LPN, 2 CNAs, 1 unit secretary and social service staff including 2 discharge planners_x000D_- Average in-patient census is 17_x000D_- Average length of stay is 4 days_x000D_- Average new patients per day: 3_x000D_- Average admissions per day: 3_x000D_- Average follow-ups per day: 14_x000D_- ER physicians do ER consults_x000D_- Psych will do hospital consults_x000D_- Psych will do H & Ps_x000D x000D_ Benefits include: _x000D x000D_- Salary based on MGMA median_x000D_- Generous Sign on bonus and relocation reimbursement offered_x000D_- Up to $4,500 for CMEs and professional license fees, dues and journals._x000D_- We provide Malpractice at $2 mill per occurrence/ $6 mill aggregate. This is a claims made policy. If Physician completes term of agreement, Healthcare will provide tail coverage._x000D_- Benefits include: health, dental, vision, life, long and short term disability, AD&D,_x000D_- Very reasonable health insurance, non-smoker employee rate is $22.00/month. Family rate: $154/month._x000D_- 403B matching up to 3% after one year._x000D_- 457 plan Top Hat Plan max contribution of $18,000 per year._x000D x000D_ Community: _x000D x000D_West Plains is the center of trade for a 50-mile radius. The area's educational opportunities are excellent with public and private schools. Also, the West Plains campus of Missouri State University provides academic and vocational education programs which include a registered and practical nursing program plus a respiratory care school.
