The Psychiatrist will examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients within scope of practice. The Psychiatrist will assess and evaluate patients across the lifespan for psychiatric disorders, provide psychopharmacological treatment, and arrange appropriate follow up. He/She will collaborate with the behavioral health care team in assessing, planning, and implementing the patient's care plan. Our outpatient behavioral health clinics operate at a fast pace, and this position requires a dedicated, focused, and energetic provider. Our behavioral health patient population is comprised of individuals presenting with a range of psychiatric disorders, many of whom have co-occurring substance abuse issues. What you need to bring to this role: Current Florida License as a Psychiatrist Minimum of 1+ years clinical experience preferred Current CPR certification Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities A strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude MAT certification a plus Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus **MCR Health is a drug-free workplace.
