A company is looking for a Proposal Solutions Engineer - BESS Energy Controls Remote. Key Responsibilities Develop technical proposals for microgrid and energy management systems, including battery energy storage systems Collaborate with team members to prepare proposals and ensure adherence to industry standards Provide technical guidance on microgrid controls and mentor project teams in implementing complex power and control schemes Required Qualifications Three to five years of related technical experience in electrical controls projects B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering Solid understanding of microgrids, renewable energy integration, and battery energy storage systems Knowledge of renewable and electrical codes and standards such as IEEE, IEC61850, and NERC-CIP Experience with grid simulation studies and programming using languages like C, C++, or equivalent
