With home remodeling on the upswing, our company is busier than ever. We are currently seeking an experienced and detailed Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for supervising construction, contracting work, and ensuring the completion of each residential remodel project on time, within budget and with complete client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, punctual, organized, have a solid work ethic and great communication skills. The Project Manager is expected to maintain continuous self- improvement. Responsibilities Schedule pre-construction meetings with clients 24 hours after receiving a job file. Review field conditions, proposed costs, schedule and working drawings Act as the primary point of contact for each project through completion and ensure that each project is built in a clean and professional manner Maintain constant communication during the remodel process Work with CAD to acquire all necessary structural engineering plans, drawings and specifications to obtain all necessary building permits Review all material, labor, and equipment for each job, confirming that each is within budget and can be procured to meet the job schedule and that Purchase Orders (POs) are accurate Coordinate with the warehouse staff to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of ordered material, tools, and equipment for each job Visit the Jobsite during all crucial construction and monitor workmanship quality of techs and subcontractors to report issues to upper management Qualifications 5 – 10 years of directly related residential remodel experience Understanding of residential construction, building codes, municipal inspection process and trade contracts Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations Multi-task between client, technicians, subcontractors, vendors and office personnel in a professional manner Ability to communicate positively with multiple departments Prior experience as a general contractor is highly preferred Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Valid California Driver’s License with clear driving record Why work for Remodel Works?
