About the Role: Gen3 seeks a stellar Project Manager to play a key role in supporting the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA). The Project Manager will plan and manage IT projects, manage teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid). What You'll Do: Plan and manage IT projects and coordinate with MDTA business units. Manage a team of subject matter experts, IT staff, and contractors. Develop project management plans and maintain project schedules. Monitor project progress, address issues, and manage change control. Ensure the completion of project deliverables and prepare project status reports. What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience. Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP®) or industry equivalent like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner). Five (5) plus years experience in the software development lifecycle, configuration and risk management, communication and team building, scheduling (WBS/Level of Estimate), earned value, change management, and quality assurance (including test plan creation, testing management, and results organization). Expertise in at least four of the following systems: asset, budget, document, financial, human resource, infrastructure support, maintenance, management reporting, procurement, project/program/portfolio management, or business process improvement systems. Experience with project management tools and methodologies. What's Desired to Have: Previous experience supporting federal or state agencies, especially MDTA, is highly desired. Salary: $120,000 and $140,000 annually depending on skills and experience with full-time benefits and a discretionary bonus. *Work pending contract award.
