As a Project Manager, you will work closely with clients to build highly complex design build low voltage technology projects. We will lean on you for operational leadership support so your ability to guide field staff through the project lifecycle will be important in achieving success in this role. Ideally, you have handled low voltage construction projects worth $5 million or more. Though based in Vancouver, you may have to travel throughout the surrounding area depending on operational needs. You will work on a variety of projects in different industries. This position will challenge your abilities as a project management professional and help drive your career growth. Your ability to be creative in addressing complex issues and delivering solutions will serve you well in determining success in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver and complete low voltage systems for new construction, including complex security systems (video surveillance , access control, Intercom, Intrusion, RTLS), Audio/Visual, Public Address and structured cabling Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget while maintaining the highest quality delivery for our clients Lead, guide, train, and mentor field and coordination staff Provide accurate financial reports for project performance and targets, including cost and revenue forecasting, accruals, billing, receivables and payables management, and working capital management Develop and manage schedules, resource plans, procurement, project commissioning, and risk mitigation strategies Maximize productivity through the implementation of best practices and standard processes Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communications, both formal and informal Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a pool of resources; manage a selection of subcontracts for projects, where required Proactively backss risks; ensure a safe and healthy.
