It Project Manager Main Points Fully remote Bachelors degree required 8-10+ years of IT Project Management experience A PMP is a plus but not required SDLC experience IT project focused position Salary: 60-70/hr. 6 Month Temporary position Looking for someone that has operations/infrastructure competency The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in the company’s IT department, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. Some of an IT Project Manager’s day-to-day duties include: Essential Functions: - Lead others through business change and implementation plans. Drives teams to consensus and completion. - Interprets business needs and defines realistic goals and objectives. - Scopes projects to align with goals and objectives and deliver incremental value. - Holds individuals accountable for project deliverables. - Proactively anticipate and manage risk. - Determines the most appropriate project lifecycle to follow based on project Responsibilities Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change Powered by JazzHR
