Project Manager / Estimator

Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing Concrete Restoration team. This role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a successful history of accurate cost estimation and efficient project management. The ideal candidate will be analytical, solutions-oriented, and skilled in both client communication and team coordination. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and estimate commercial construction projects from inception through completion Develop detailed cost estimates by analyzing project plans, blueprints, and specifications Prepare comprehensive take-offs, scopes of work, and bid packages Obtain quotes from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing Present detailed proposals and cost estimates to clients, reflecting in-depth project analysis Manage project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control to ensure timely, on-budget completion Coordinate project activities with clients, subcontractors, and team members to meet all project goals Generate and develop leads for future projects Maintain all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports, with accuracy and timeliness Qualifications: Education: A bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is required Experience: At least 3-5 years in commercial construction estimating, with a solid understanding of project management principles Skills: Proficient in reading construction plans and specifications Strong ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and manage costs effectively Familiar with contract and subcontract terms Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously Experience with Specialty Contractors or a Self-Performing contractor preferred Sales/marketing experience is a plus Travel: Willingness to travel to and from job sites; travel expenses will be covered when applicable Work Environment: This role involves both office and field settings. Job sites may include exposure to seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud noises, and environments requiring prolonged standing or walking. Candidates should be comfortable in both indoor and outdoor settings and around active construction areas.
