About Baker Group: Established in 1963, Baker Group is Iowa's premier full-service specialty contractor. Baker Group offers a wide range of services including designing, installing and servicing commercial/industrial/institutional mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, building automation, security access control, CCTV, parking management, and fire alarm systems. *This role would consist of 3-6 months of training at our Ankeny, IA location. Upon completion of training, you would relocate to Louisville Metropolitan area.* Role: Work alongside an Automation Project Manager providing help with coordination and preparation of tasks and analyzing and compilation of data. Develop and deploy cutting-edge automation solutions for construction tasks. Stay update on emerging technologies to inform automation strategies. Requirements: Entry-level role, typically supervised by a Project Manager. 2-4 year degree in Automation, Electrical Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
