Responsibilities and Duties Work directly under the Department Head. Assist with managing Project Managers. Perform site visits to observe, document, collect, verify, and analyze existing HVAC mechanical conditions. Prepare reports with observations, findings and opinions. Prepare construction specifications documents and repair protocols. Review drawings, plans and specifications. Design various mechanical details and plans. Interact with Clients to present findings and provide updates. Keep timely and accurate time log. Performing construction project inspections Assist in the evaluation of contract bids Record field measurements and perform calculations Prepare investigation report and bid documents, including drawings and technical specifications Requirements and Skills BS Degree in Engineering degree required (MS is a plus). 7+ years' background P.E. License required Building Envelope background required. Condominiums/Community Association background required. OSHA 30 HR Certification a plus Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Microsoft word & Ms excel). Outstanding written/ Spoken communication. Excellent report written correspondence expertise required. Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred. Must have or be able to obtain an unrestricted valid Driver's license Ability to attend client meetings and events, as needed. Ability to interact with clients and contractors. Ability to manage time and within project budgets. Ability travel outside local areas as workload and projects required.
