Eden Green Technology is hiring a Production Technician for our vertical farms in Cleburne, TX. If you are a dedicated, collaborative and hardworking person looking for a great opportunity, this is an awesome job to get your foot in the door within the emerging vertical farming industry. Greenhouse Hours: Shift A: Monday - Friday - 6AM - 2:45PMShift B: Saturday - Tuesday - 6AM - 4:45PMDaily break: 2 fifteen minute breaks and a 45 minute lunch break What you'll do: Production technicians....Transplant seedlings into the grow vinesManually clean and sanitize the grow area as neededHarvest mature plants to be sent to the pack houseOperate scissor lifts (this position is not recommended for people with an aversion to heights)Complete sanitation tasks as requiredAssist other departments as assigned. What you'll need: Must be at least 18 years oldMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours daily, with or without reasonable accommodationComfortable working in a greenhouse environment with variation in extreme temperaturesMust have dependable transportation We’re looking for people who are: DependableEnjoy consistencyComfortable working in a team settingMotivatedWilling to learn/ adopt our food safety standards and proceduresThese full-time positions will start at $14 an hour.
