Production Planner Salary up to A GBP 30,000 per annum depending on experience + benefits Based Cross Hills, West Yorkshire BD20 7BW Full time The main purpose of this role is to manage the customer expectations of the delivery or orders on time in full. The successful Production Planner must be able to commute to the Cross Hills facility daily, this is a factory based role. Key Responsibilities of the production planner role include: Plan and organise production through machine shop and assembly and test departments and manage the daily work schedules for both areas. Using Efacs prepare capacity planning schedules for CNC machine shop and assembly and test department. Attend daily production meetings and advise the sales department of any potential issues. Liaise with Purchasing department for sub contract requirements. Expedite internal parts to fulfill complete kit requirements. Update the sales and work order documents. Continually review and develop the companys operating systems. Identify bottle necks to processes and human capacity. For this role, we are keen to receive CVs from individuals who possess: Previous experience within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry would be beneficial You will be able to demonstrate your time management and relationship building abilities along with good communication skills across different levels and disciplines of the organisation. You must be computer literate in Microsoft packages with a working knowledge of MRP systems.
