Description:
A company is looking for a Production Editor to oversee the production of Adult titles across various genres. Key Responsibilities Manage the production process from manuscript to final print files for 35-50 titles annually Collaborate with editors, authors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality manuscript preparation and formatting Coordinate with the International team for high-quality localized editions and align schedules with domestic timelines Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in creative writing, English, Journalism, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience 2-4 years of proven experience in publishing production or project management Strong understanding of the publishing process with a focus on editorial quality and deadline management Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Basecamp) is a plus
