Position summary Job Summary: The Product Analyst will be responsible for working with multiple departments in leading product analysis activity. This includes measuring and tracking key performance metrics and trends, building management analysis and reports, performing marketplace and competitor research, and communicating and making recommendations based on final results. The role supports the development of new and existing products, improved competitive position, growth, profitability and compliance. Duties: Support PL/CL Underwriting analytical strategies and initiatives. Lead business initiatives and projects for both Personal & Commercial Lines operations in accordance with defined departmental needs to assure positive impact. Lead product review activity around the adopting/non-adopting of Insurance Service Organization (ISO) products and make recommendations to Leadership on direction. Assist in the development of new products, enhancement to existing products, and build processes as necessary to accommodate those changes. Partner with A-O in the filing of Product & Rule changes with state departments. Partner with IT to identify effort, scope and define qualifications to assure accurate and timely implementation. Analyze data from a variety of sources to identify trends, market potential, competitive forces, segmentation and business shifts. Effectively present strategies and recommendations to others. Influence the direction, design and development of product changes. Promote and execute strategies that will allow Concord Group to better integrate with Auto-Owners Insurance. Complete ad hoc analyses as needed. Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent background preferably in analysis, mathematics, statistics, business or economics. Excellent analytical and analytical abilities. Strong written and oral communication abilities. Expertise to interact in a team environment and across multiple departments. Strong management skills and attention to detail. Expertise to mine, analyze and present results to leadership.
