This role requires providing legal counsel, representing clients in probate court, and resolving estate-related disputes in compliance with state and federal laws.Location:Arlington Heights, ILDuties:Represent clients in probate court proceedings and hearings.Draft, review, and file legal documents, including wills, trusts, and probate petitions.Provide legal counsel on estate planning and the probate process.Resolve disputes related to wills, trusts, and estate administration.Collaborate with executors, administrators, and beneficiaries to settle estates.Conduct legal research and stay informed about changes in probate law.Work with legal staff and colleagues to develop case strategies.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active and in good standing with the Illinois State Bar.Strong knowledge of probate law, estate administration, and guardianship processes.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.Certifications:Active Illinois Bar membership required.Skills:Expertise in probate and estate administration.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Proficient in negotiation and dispute resolution.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.401(k) with matching contributions.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and retirement plan.Paid time off (PTO).
