Mahiwood Films (Production Company) located at 5920 CANADA WAY BURNABY, BC V5E 3N8 is looking to hire a full-time and permanent Private Secretary. Wages will be $25/hr and work is 30 hours/week. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are also welcome to apply). Duties: • Prepare and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material• Open and distribute incoming mail, both physical and electronic, and other materials, and manage information flow both inside and across departments and organisations• Schedule and confirm appointments and prepare minutes of meetings• Determine and establish office procedures by performing clerical and general office responsibilities, including ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory. • Be the first point of contact answering all telephone and electronic enquiries and relaying telephone calls and messages• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems• Arrange travel schedules and make reservations when needed• May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities• May organize conferences. Job Requirements• Completion of secondary school is usually required. • Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required.
