A financial services company in New York City is actively seeking an analytical and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new Accountant / Senior Accountant. In this role, the Accountant / Senior Accountant will work with financial information from an in-house accounting perspective. Responsibilities The Accountant / Senior Accountant will: Produce quarterly investment reports from the database Review general ledger reports Generate internal correspondence Assist in the preparation of financial statements for Fund entities Provide auditors with necessary supporting documentation in connection with the year-end audit Assist tax team with the preparation of the Fund entity tax returns and tax planning projects Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and confidential issues Assist in a wide variety of projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree 2+ years of Big 4 audit or Fund Administration experience Proficient Microsoft Office skills Strong interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills Detail-oriented Good communication skills Team-oriented Desired skills Investran experience
