What is Private Duty Nursing? Private Duty Nursing is one-on-one care in the home for clients with specialized healthcare needs who require continuous hourly nursing care provided in shifts of 8-12hrs./day. What do PD nurses do? Provide One-on-one care and patient interaction Vital signs and physical assessments Administration of medications and treatments (as prescribed by physician) Documentation of patient's ongoing condition G-tubes, trach and vent care possible Training: One-on-One Specialized Training Trach, Ventilator and G-Tube Training 24/7 support staff Benefits: Competitive Pay!
