We'll help you develop a professional roadmap that takes your career to new heights.Who you'll be working withWe build the solutions dreamed up by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across three global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms.What you'll be doing Directly reporting and collaborating closely with the Managing Director of Engineering and Product Development Guiding engineers on enterprise technologies and solutions Facilitating and leading client project scope discussions with the ability to understand and articulate the business impact of proposed solutions Leveraging new and emerging technologies to fulfill project requirements and business objectives Mapping project requirements to technical tasks for the engineering team Writing and reviewing software code Writing client-readable technical architecture documentation Enforcing development best practices with the engineering team - proper code branching, code reviews, unit tests, and environment setup Leading all phases of software development including design, development, testing, and supportWhat you'll need to be successful (Requirements) Seven (7)+ years of hands-on development experience in one or more of the following languages/frameworks: React/Angular, Node/Next.js, Python/Django Experience managing a team of software engineers at all levels Hands-on development and deployment experience in AWS or Azure using serverless functions or EC2 Experience with RESTful & GraphQL APIs DB experience with relational or NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, MongoDB, Redis Familiarity with cloud-based logging, monitoring, and security toolsBonus Points for these (Preferred Experience) Familiarity with microservices architectures Familiarity with dev tools such as Github, Jira, CFT, TerraformNeed another reason to hit the "apply" button?
