Preschool Teacher Join our Early Childhood Community! Carter Center For Children, is a full year, non-profit community based childcare center. We are proudly moving into our 43rd year of serving families in Needham.We are currently seeking a qualified/certified teachers to teach, nurture and play in our preschool classrooms.You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated and experienced co-teachers. Everyday you will have the opportunity to fulfill your vocation of working with young children. Our children are diverse, joyful and active learners.We are a play-based center with an emphasis on supporting children in their social-emotional development. Our goal is to prepare and guide them in social and cognitive endeavors in the present with a pathway towards their future. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum. Recognize and support children's individuality and temperament. Observe all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety and care of children. Collaborate with team members on maintaining a well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision making by children. Observation and assessment of children. Adhere and maintain EEC regulations. Looking for candidates who are and have the following skills: Passion, creativity and dedication for teaching young children. Strong communication and collaboration for working as a team Flexibility and able to adapt to change. Supportive and empathetic towards children and families.
