Precast Quality Control Technician US-PA-Douglassville Job ID: 2024-2468 Type: Regular Full-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: Contracting Atlantic American Precast Overview Atlantic American Precast, a division of H&K Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced Precast Quality Control Technician to run aggregate gradations and test precast concrete daily. Competitive salary commensurate with experience 100% Company-paid Health Benefits Health Savings Account available 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs Additional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all work according to OSHA, MSHA, and H&K Safety policies Follow and assure compliance with quality control plans Sample and test materials following standard practices and quality plans Maintain test records and assure compliance with company and agency specifications Maintain a clean, organized work environment Calibrate and maintain test equipment to standards Establish and maintain lines of communication with plant operations, agency representatives, and quality control supervision Work with sales team to address customer issues Generate reports and communicate results and trends to the quality control team and H&K employees Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience Two years of related experience Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered ACI Concrete Field Technician Grade 1 and PQS Certification Able to read and understand general production plans Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of precast concrete, or NPCA precast training Experience working with state DOT regulations & paperwork Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience Knowledge of mix designsPhysical Demands Regularly required to Climb, stoop, bend, squat, stretch Lift and/or move 25-50 pounds Occasionally required to Use hands to finger, handle, feel, Talk, or hear Vision abilities required include Close Distance Peripheral Depth perceptionWork Environment Regularly exposed to Slippery, uneven surfaces Outside weather conditions including extreme hot or cold weather Occasionally exposed to Moving, mechanical parts High, precarious places Fumes or airborne particles Hours vary by project and may include overtime and weekends In mid-2020, H&K Group, Inc.
