The position involves handling cases before litigation or arbitration, ensuring each claim is thoroughly prepared to achieve maximum value.DutiesConduct thorough evaluations of coverage and liability for personal injury claims.Recommend further investigative steps and retain expert witnesses when necessary.Maintain extensive client communication, keeping clients informed of claim statuses and developments.Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and billing statements.Prepare complex demand packages for high-value claims.Negotiate and settle pre-litigation cases effectively and efficiently.Draft legal documents, including Petitions for Minor Compromises and Government Entity Claims, and track associated deadlines and statutes of limitations.Prepare civil complaints and demands for arbitration.Represent clients in pre-suit depositions and defend them during examinations under oath.RequirementsLicensed attorney in California, in good standing with the State Bar.A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney; personal injury law experience preferred.A strong understanding of medical terminology and treatment processes is a significant advantage.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable demeanor.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsCalifornia Bar License.SkillsExceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.Strong negotiation skills to maximize claim settlements.Ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized case documentation.Affinity for building rapport with clients and maintaining client trust.Benefits401(k) retirement plan.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance coverage.Generous paid time off.If you are a results-driven legal professional passionate about advocating for injury victims, we invite you to apply through our recruitment firm.
