Purpose :The Food Processing team in the Poultry Room will be responsible for the efficient packing and processing of poultry products for distribution to those in need. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Packing and Processing: Receive, inspect, and sort incoming poultry products. Package poultry items according to established guidelines and quality standards. Operate processing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Quality Control: Ensure the quality and freshness of poultry products. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues with packaging or product quality. Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain product integrity. Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve daily production targets. Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate activities. Assist in cross-training team members for flexibility in job assignments. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the poultry processing room. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations. Documentation: Keep accurate records of processed products, quantities, and any quality control measures taken. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food processing or a similar environment is preferred. Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Skills, Education and Experience: Job Specifications: The physical demands of this position include standing for extended periods, hot and cool temperatures, Fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, flexible schedule may be required based on production needs.
