The Role: As a Senior Portfolio, Program, Project Analyst with the Technology Scouting branch within the Technology Scouting and Transition division at the Department of Homeland Security's Science & Technology Directorate, you'll play an integral role in identifying and addressing technology gaps for first responders and DHS components. Working closely with federal staff, you'll manage timelines, track research requests, generate stakeholder reports, and support critical branch operations through data-driven insights. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and project management experience to enhance cross-organizational collaboration and reporting capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Program & Project Management: Coordinate technology scouting activities, manage branch tracking systems, and lead process improvement initiatives. Documentation & Reporting: Generate reports, draft white papers, and prepare presentations for project functions and leadership updates. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with stakeholders to align technology advancements with homeland security needs. Research & Analysis: Support technology integration by conducting research on current and emerging technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years. PMP certification a plus. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Power Apps, SharePoint, and experience with MS Copilot preferred. Strong technical writing and communication skills.
