SUMMARY: The Portfolio Contract Manager will manage a variety of U.S. Federal contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. You will provide remote and on-site advice to Cayuse's subsidiaries focusing on the contracts in the Cayuse Technologies, LLC business unit. Primary activities include working with project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. You may manage more than one contract or, alternatively, be full-time on a single project (depending on the size/complexity of the agreement). The Portfolio Contract Manager is responsible for the overall success of the organization by administrating, managing, and supporting proposals, contracts, subcontracts, and projects. Prepares, reviews and files contract documents and reports to management on project status. Keeps schedules and calendars to track projects and deadlines. Electronic file organization and document management. Maintains business documentation, electronic files, and project information. Maintains communication with written and verbal briefs and documents. Self-starter with the ability to learn new tasks and skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution. Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met. Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc. Responsible for consultation and escalation to the Portfolio Managing Director - Contracts and Cayuse General Counsel of contractual or business risks/issues that are not solved satisfactorily by the project team in a timely manner. Responsible for documentation and implementation of Contract Management processes. Manages daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel and project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function. Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal Services, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly. Acts as liaison between Cayuse and clients/vendors where contracts or compliance issues are involved. Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance. Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement project. Achieves a reasonable level of understanding of Cayuse's major business areas (professional services, technology services, business process services) in order to communicate effectively with project Program Manager, Client Account Lead, and Company Managing Director and provide relevant advice. May provide training to Contract Management and project personnel. Actively involved in contract management initiatives. Participating in substantive negotiations and business calls. Providing input into contracting strategy. Providing contract interpretation to internal clients. Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal and state regulations. Manage electronic file system; ensuring final copies of agreements/documents are saved and stored properly. Draft, review, proofread and process documents and agreements. Self-monitor schedules, deadlines, and calendars to keep tasks on track. Maintain contract documents to keep them up to date and organized. Use knowledge, skills, and abilities to review, interpret problems and situations to develop plans of action. Work in a team environment to ensure tasks are reviewed and approved. Maintain confidentiality of all agreements and business strategies Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Accounting, Public Administration preferred. Education requirement may be substituted with a minimum 8 years of relevant work experience. S. Citizenship required. Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks and/or clearance as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment. Membership in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM), required. NCMA CPCM of CFCM preferred. Minimum of 8 years of Contract Management experience. Minimum 3 years of experience working within a government contracting environment. General business knowledge Procurement experience Preferred technical knowledge in the following: FAR/DFAR Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. CostPoint 8 SBA 8(a) regulatory understanding REQUIRED SKILLS: Self-starter with the ability to learn new tasks and skills. Strong organization and communications skills. Ability to multitask and have practical time management skills. Team Playe r WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position. Must be able to attend and conduct virtual meetings as needed. Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines .
