Purpose: Plant Sanitation The purpose of this position is to help the plant be more efficient by conducting cleaning of equipment, taking out waste, and keeping the floors clean to create a sanitary and safe environment. Attributes: Problem Solving Goal-oriented Communication Attention to Detail Organization & Time Management Responsibilities: Take out garbage and empty pallets Clean and sanitize various pieces of equipment in the plant Working with a team to ensure our facility is clean Assist operators on startups and shutdowns with removal of waste in barrels and cleaning around equipment Operate Forklift and Floor Scrubber to assist in cleanup of production floor Bail bags, boxes, and totesAdditional cleaning/janitorial tasks as needs arise Job Requirements Willing and able to stand for long periods of time Be willing and able to be forklift certified Able to lift 65lbs Able to bend, Stoop and reach Hours: Monday – Friday 2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pmMust be willing to train during day shift for up to 3 weeks Compensation: $18.50 per hour Benefits Company Paid Medical Affordable Dental & Vision Life Insurance, Short & Long-Term Disability 401k with Company Match 7 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Parental Leave Wellness Program Free Pet Food Disclaimer This job description is not a complete description of responsibility, but reflects the general qualifications, duties and/or responsibilities necessary to perform this position.
