Here are some key accountabilities of the role: Accountable for building department/category business plans 6+ months out to support global merchandise strategy to support sales and profit objectives of the business. Oversees the development of specific business plans, including execution, reporting, monitoring and budget management Plans department needs by creating pre-season department dollar and unit plans and managing business in-season to fund sales and trade inventory Proactively probes team to continuously analyze off-price metrics and provide recommendations to business partners Directs team to ensure optimal outbound inventory flow and freshness that support the business plan; identifying and escalating sales risks due to flow challenges; Influence optimal Inbound flow with merchants and business partners Leads pre-strategy discussion and preparation with business partners and supporting Planning team in proactively prepping and actively contributing to strategy discussions.
