Greensboro Country Club, one of North Carolina's most prestigious clubs, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Pickleball and Tennis Professional. Following a $19 million renovation, our club offers state-of-the-art facilities and a thriving community. We are dedicated to developing our pickleball and tennis programs, with a special emphasis on pickleball growth, as well as women's and junior player development. Key Responsibilities: Pickleball Development: Lead the development and expansion of our pickleball program, including creating and implementing new programs, clinics, and leagues to attract and retain members. Instruction: Provide private and group lessons for all levels in both pickleball and tennis, including juniors (ages 4-18), junior team tennis, and women's competitive teams (2.5 - 5.0 players). Event Coordination: Organize and execute pickleball events, tournaments, and social activities, as well as assist in tennis events for both adults and juniors. Program Development: Proactively create and implement programs to enhance participation in both tennis and pickleball activities. Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a team of teaching professionals, reporting directly to the Director of Racquet Sports. Coordinate Leagues: Responsible for organizing and constructing in-house ladder leagues as well as inter-club leagues. Candidate Attributes: Experience: Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience with all ages and skill levels in both pickleball and tennis. Playing Background: College-level and tournament playing experience preferred. Coaching Skills: Proven ability to coach women's competitive teams and junior players of all levels. Energy & Innovation: High energy with a strong need for achievement and the ability to bring innovative ideas to life. Administrative Skills: Strong promotional, administrative, and communication skills. Club Overview: Greensboro Country Club comprises 1,200 family members and boasts two facilities, including: 2 golf courses 12 tennis courts (9 outdoor & 3 indoor) 6 indoor Pickleball courts 2 platform tennis courts 4 pickleball courts 2 swimming pools World-class fitness facility Compensation and Benefits: Salary: Above-average base salary and commission on lessons and clinics, totaling $70,000+ yearly.
