POSITION TITLE: Physical Therapy Assistant Company Overview: Platinum TherapEASE Staffing is a leading provider of rehabilitation staffing services for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) across the country. Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this full-time role, you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on patient care, assist in implementing treatment plans, and contribute to optimal recovery outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Assist Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients needs.Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions.Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, home exercises, and recovery strategies.Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation.Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
