Position Title : Physical Therapy Assistant Location : Great Bend, KS Shift : 1 Shift Per Week, 6-8 Hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Salary : $25.00 - $27.50 per hour Benefits : None Sign-On Bonus : No Relocation Assistance : Yes Job Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide physical therapy services to home health patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This part-time role is ideal for a PTA seeking to work one shift per week in a flexible and patient-centered environment. You will assist in implementing therapeutic programs, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Responsibilities: Implement physical therapy treatments as per the plan of care established by the physical therapist. Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, mobility, and overall physical health maintenance. Assist in improving patient mobility, pain management, and independence in the home setting. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Licenses: Licensed to practice as a PTA in the state of Kansas. Certifications: BLS certification required within the first two weeks of employment. Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply!
