Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - Home Health Location: Lawton, OK Shift Notes: 8:00A - 5:00P (8 Hour Days) Sign-On Bonus: $6,000 Relocation Bonus: $2,000 (Specific conditions apply for eligibility) Salary Range: $24.50 - $27.56/hour (based on experience) Position Summary: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Home Health settings works under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients in their homes. The PTA implements treatment plans involving therapeutic exercises and modalities tailored to meet individual patient needs across a diverse age range. Responsibilities: Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks as directed by a registered Physical Therapist. Administer modalities and therapeutic exercises according to each patients medical needs and the approved treatment plan. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of daily activities, treatment notes, and discharge summaries. Assist in ensuring the operational efficiency and cleanliness of the therapy environment. Provide care for a varied patient demographic, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Experience in home health care or a related healthcare setting preferred. Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities and patient care protocols.
