Your responsibilities will include:Assessing and evaluating the therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status of patients.Participating in the development of comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.Evaluating the home environment to ensure it supports the patient's rehabilitation goals.Assessing muscle strength, mobility, gait, range of motion, and the patient's potential for rehabilitation.Instructing patients/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances to support their rehabilitation journey.QualificationsLicensed to practice a physical therapist within the StatePossesses a degree from a baccalaureate or master’s program in physical therapy approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, or The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.Prefer two (2) years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist.
