The practice is based in beautiful Bend, OR and offers the outdoor enthusiast a multitude of year-round activities. Our therapists are given the flexibility to make and adjust their own schedules, treat patients 1-on-1 in hour-long sessions, and assigned a private treatment room with access to a large gym area and an array of extensive equipment. This position is a vital member of our dynamic team which works together providing orthopedic manual therapy to our clients. You will provide treatment to patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Essential Job Functions Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms Evaluate mobility, movement dysfunction, balance coordination and physical function. Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results Coordinate with patient’s primary physician and other medical professionals Developing personalized treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques Maintaining patient records and keeping track of goals and progress Assess patient progress and make plan adjustments Advise and demonstrate exercises, movements, and home workouts Record and document patient care services in EHR program Performance Requirements Demonstrate competency in all clinical knowledge and skills specific to patient care Monitor patient’s progression and make appropriate adjustments Record patient’s treatment, progress and subjective components in EHR Maintain a full patient case load and remain flexible to accommodate patient’s needs Collaborate with other team members to achieve well-rounded care Need to be an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills Compliant with state regulatory requirements Consulting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals Education and/or Experience Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program At least 1 year experience in an orthopedic physical therapy capacity Preferred experience in an outpatient setting with an emphasis on manual therapy Must possess a current state of Oregon Physical therapy license, or provide application status We offer an extensive benefit package, including: 4 day work week with flexible hours Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance coverage CEU and Dues reimbursement Retirement plan options Paid vacation and sick leave Mentoring opportunities Life, AD/PL and STD options Bend, Oregon is world-famous for both its outdoor pursuits and pristine beauty.
