Physical Therapist - Baltimore, MD Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour (with sign on bonus up to $5000 to qualified candidates) Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Physical Therapist in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and collaboration skills, experience working with various patient populations, and proficiency in documentation using EMR/EHR systems. A passion for patient care and continuous learning in rehabilitation techniques is essential. About the Job The role involves assessing and treating patients recovering from various conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and using therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and track patient progress to ensure effective recovery. Duties and Responsibilities: Assess patients’ physical conditions and design treatment plans to enhance mobility and function.Formulate care strategies using diverse therapeutic methods.Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient’s unique needs.Deliver high-quality, personalized care through evidence-based practices and effective interventions.Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and optimal patient outcomes.Keep detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records of patient progress. Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in PT or a related field. Master's degree preferred.One year of experience as a physical therapistCurrent Physical Therapy licensure in the state of MarylandCurrent American Heart Association Healthcare provider BLS CPR certification. Requries Skills Ability to effectively handle patients with a variety of personalities.Up-to-date expertise in current therapeutic practices.Strong motivation for continuous learning and self-improvement.Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and a high level of professionalism. Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of MarylandCurrent American Heart Association Healthcare provider BLS CPR certification.
