P hysical Therapist Assistant - Baltimore, MD Compensation: $32 - $35 per hour (with sign on bonus up to $5000 to qualified candidates) Overview: Nexus HR is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. About the Job As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Baltimore, MD, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to significantly impact patients' lives. You'll work closely with Physical Therapists to implement personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide compassionate care. Your role includes educating patients and their families, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver chosen elements of care and interventions with technical proficiency.Assess patient needs while demonstrating compassion, care, and empathy for their individual differences.Suggest options, courses of action, or adjustments to treatments to ensure the patient’s progress, safety, and comfort.Utilize the latest research to enhance function, reduce symptom frequency, and prevent injury. Qualifications :Associate's or bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (PTA) or a related field.Demonstrated experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Strong knowledge of best practices and standards in physiology.Practical experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities.Effective communication and instructional skills.Proficiency in healthcare administration and documentation.Valid certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant or relevant certification.Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
