Mileage paid. Requires a clean driving history.cover the SE MO (Ex. Sikeston and Kennett) and Western KY (Paducah, Wickliffe, Mayfield, Murray, Hopkinsville) area. Radius will be within a 2-hour drive time and evenly spread within locations, however Mayfield is the biggest need. Will be traveling to Doctors offices, health fairs and a patient service center. Will also be completing drug screens and spec. processing in this role. Expertise to work autonomously and background and comfortability with pediatric draws is strongly preferred!PST with a min of 2 years background as a patient service technician/phlebotomist and may qualify as a floater. Skill and comprehension level required for this category: Phlebotomy certification (where required) from an accredited agency, completion of an approved phlebotomy training course, or equivalent background through previous employment. Min of 2 yrs verifiable phlebotomy background. Exhibit proficiency in all of the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, difficult draws (patients in mental retardation facilities, longterm care facilities, drug rehabilitation facilities, prisons, psychiatric facilities, or similar facilities). Has comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety and can effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees. Possess the expertise and skills necessary to provide orientation and training for patient service technicians.Skill QualificationsAdministrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, management skills, proficiency with numbers, research details, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.Machine: Personal computer.Physical qualifications: Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on ones feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping. Moderate physical effort (up to 30 lbs); must comply with applicable safety procedures.Work conditions: Possible exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens; regularly exposed to the risk of blood-borne diseases; must comply with applicable safety procedures.Vision Qualifications: Far acuity-expertise to see clearly at 20 ft or more; near acuity-expertise to see clearly at 20ins or less; depth perception-expertise to judge distance and space relationships; color vision-expertise to distinguish and identify different colors. License/Certification/Education: Requires a High-school certificate or equivalent w/two years background. Meet all state & local qualifications for Phlebotomy.
