Position: Pharmacy Director Location: Lewiston, ID Salary: $160,000 - $200,000Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Pharmacy Director to lead their pharmacy department in Lewiston, ID. The Pharmacy Director will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and managing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. This role requires a strong background in hospital pharmacy, with a focus on leadership and strategic management. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Idaho. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience. At least three (3) years of director-level experience in a hospital setting. Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the pharmacy department, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication management. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including licensing and certification requirements. Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy. Manage the pharmacy budget, including cost control and financial reporting. Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services. Provide education and training to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
