Our pet boarding and daycare facility is looking for a Pet Care Supervisor to help lead a staff of about 20 people. We are looking for an energetic, organized, hard working, detailed oriented, outgoing person to work full-time as a Supervisor. Candidate must be available weekdays, holidays and weekends. Position includes complete pet care and good customer service skills and you will be dealing with clients at times. Comfortable talking with people, leading a shift, compassionate, emergencies and dealing with all types of animals and situations that may arise. This person will also need to learn our software and have good computer skills and excellent literacy.PRIOR PROFESSIONAL PET CARE experience in a dog daycare setting of at LEAST 3 years is REQUIRED. (D o not apply if you do not have experience .) PRIOR DOG DAYCARE ATTENDANT experience of at LEAST 1 year is REQUIRED. (D o not apply if you do not have experience .) Ideal candidate must have experience in reading dog body language and being in a daycare playgroup environment. Must have managerial experience.Must be able to: work independently take initiative follow procedures work from checklists manage staff accomplish goals be mature & reliable All within a fast pace environment. We care for many animals during the day and overnight. Each animal must be cared for, fed, cleaned up after and interacted with. We do all of our laundry and all of the dishes the animals get dirty during the day. We prepare their food and treats here at the facility. Must be able to follow a recipe and feeding instructions. Which means you need to measure correctly. We clean up after the dogs throughout the day and hose down and disinfect areas of the facility with hoses. You will need to be able to handle that type of work as well. Our facility is steadily growing. We provide a training program and offer ongoing learning opportunities for qualified employees.Continuing education will be required. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
