Our growing personal injury law firm is seeking a highly motivated and qualified personal injury lawyer to handle negotiations and settlements on a large and growing docket of cases. Candidates will preferably have 5-10 years of experience handling personal injury cases.This position will primarily entail handling all aspects of negotiating and settling pre-litigation and litigation personal injury cases as part of a team.The lawyer's cases will be supported by an intake team who will complete all initial data required for the case, medical records clerks who will obtain and organize all medical records related to the client’s file, lien specialists to handle Medicare and Medicaid issues, and further, skilled assistants and paralegals who will help lead the client through many phases of the case prior to your handling of the negotiation and settlement phase. Overall organization and attention to detail are necessary to this position along with the willingness and ability to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person. Excellent computer, analytical, and database skills are essential.You will be a part of a fast-paced team environment and will have all the needed support to allow you to grow as a lawyer and to focus on the proper negotiation and settlement of your cases.The position offers a competitive base salary along with full benefits, including health insurance (employee cost 100% paid by Firm), paid time off, generous merit-based bonuses, and 401(k) with matching employer contributions . All bar dues paid by the firm along with costs related to local CLEs.While this position offers a competitive base salary, merit-based bonuses can materially add to overall compensation.
