The ideal candidate will focus on client advocacy, legal research, and effective negotiation, working with a dedicated support staff in a dynamic legal environment.Location: Quincy, MADuties Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception to resolutionInteract with clients, providing updates and answering inquiriesConduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case lawPrepare and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreementsManage the discovery processNegotiate with opposing parties, insurance companies, and defense attorneysRepresent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trialsAnalyze case strengths and weaknesses, identifying potential legal issuesConduct case evaluations to assess likelihood of success and associated risksCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for effective case managementRequirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive Bar license in MassachusettsTrial experience preferred but not requiredEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Active Bar membership in MassachusettsSkills:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiation and analytical abilitiesDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple casesProficient in legal research and document preparationAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentBenefits:Opportunities for advancement within the firmSupport for career development and training seminarsDedicated staff for trial supportHybrid work options available based on experience
