Job Title : Associate Attorney – Personal Injury Location : Torrance, CA (Option for one remote day per week after probationary period) Salary : Base salary of $150,000+ per year, plus commission Job Summary :Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to join their personal injury litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation and be comfortable handling a caseload of 30-40 cases from filing through trial. While trial experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. This role requires full-time presence in the Torrance office, with the option to work remotely one day per week following the probationary period. Key Responsibilities : Manage a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases, leading all aspects of litigation, from filing to trial. Develop case strategies and legal theories to optimize case outcomes. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients. Serve as second chair during trials when needed. Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and answer questions. Supervise paralegals and support staff to ensure effective case management. Qualifications : Minimum of three years' experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing. Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with successful outcomes. Strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills. Commitment to maintaining client relationships with a client-centered approach. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
