Become a valuable contributor this summer at LTYC as a Summer Performing Art Instructor and participate in both in-school and after-school sessions. Responsibilities:• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and capture students' interest• Establish a secure and encouraging learning environment that prioritizes students' well-being and academic achievements• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a positive and productive learning setting• Collaborate closely with colleagues to create a comprehensive and enriching educational journey for students• Maintain precise student progress records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding accomplishments and development Qualifications:• To be considered for the Performing Art Instructor position in Baltimore, MD, US, applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant experience• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction in this role• Proficiency in GSuite is required, and the ability to quickly learn new systems is a must• Candidates need to be available for weekends and evenings with schedule flexibility• A valid driver's license with a clean driving history and access to a reliable personal vehicle are mandatory Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly About Company: Through arts education programs and more, Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center enriches the lives of thousands of underserved youth in the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia school systems, empowering them to develop their artistic talents and achieve their greatest potential. Our arts education instruction includes dance, theater, music, visual arts, media arts, creative writing, STEAM, culinary arts, Yoga, martial arts, and gardening.
