Peds Hospitalist Opening - Mason City, Iowa J1/H1b Eligible Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Join a team of three full-time Pediatric Hospitalists. - 24Hr shifts- Level II Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU)- staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Hospitalists & NICU Nurses with access to an on-site blood bank- Network service area - approximately 260,000- Regional health system covering 15 counties, includes eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota- Level III Trauma Center offering post-graduate education programs on site, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, Cardiology Fellowship, and Palliative Care Fellowship- Join the team of 3 full-time Pediatric Hospitalists- Schedule negotiable/flexible- 3 - 48 hr shifts & 1 24 hr shift in a 28-day cycle.- Avg daily volume of 3-4 normal nursery, 3-4 NICU, up to 8 pediatric patients- Teaching responsibilities of residents and medical students Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview). - $100k sign-on bonus!- Annual CME allowance of $4,000- 15 (12-hr) days of PTO/year- Employer sponsored professional liability insurance & tail insurance coverage- Health, dental, vision and life insurance- 403(b) retirement program with employer contribution and employer matching; Optional 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan About the Group - 346 Bed- Conducts a Family Medicine Residency, Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and a School of Radiologic Technology. - Clinical training site for approximately 500 students from 127 different colleges enrolled in programs for medical laboratory, nursing, paramedic, rehabilitation, medical assistants, pastoral services, physicians and many other medical fields.
