We are a small, 32 bed Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services. Job Title: PCA: Personal Care Aide Department: Personal Care Status: Full Time & Part Time Salary Range: Experience based pay starting at $16.50/hr PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends! (age 18 years and older) Employer match after 90 days On-Site Gym Referral Bonus Program Compassion and Relief Fund Wellness Programs Employee Assistance Program Discount Programs 24-hour coffee/tea service Appreciation Days & Special Events Potential for Annual Resident Christmas Bonus and Increases American Heritage Credit Union As a PCA: Personal Care Aide, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the resident's individual needs Assisting residents with eating and drinking such as meal and beverage selection, cueing for meal completion and/or hands on feeding. Assist residents in between meals with obtaining snacks and hydration throughout the day. Encourage resident participation in leisure activities provided for residents as described in activity calendar, social events, walking program or as needed to practice de-escalation techniques per resident's support plan Assist in admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures Respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including telephone calls, and requests from family and friends, visitors, or other personnel What do I need for this role with Frederick Living ?
