As a Human Resources PAYROLL VOE REWARD & RECOGNITION ADMINISTRATOR (PVRRA), you must have a strategic perspective, be innovative, and build relationships. RMA seeks seasoned PAYROLL VOE REWARD & RECOGNITION ADMINISTRATOR (PVRRA) who are people-oriented and capable of cultivating an environment where employees are engaged and highly motivated. A human resources administrator oversees employee engagement through payroll, VOEs, and reward and recognition for our seven divisions within RMA Worldwide. A (PVRRA) must be creative, analytical, and decisive decision-makers able to reduce several payroll cycles into two cycles without disrupting the business or employee experience by adhering to our core values of Exceptional Service, Everywhere, Every Time. This individual has excellent organization and collaboration skills to work across the enterprise. The PVRRA utilizes in-office, teleconferencing, video, and social media award ceremonies and town hall meetings to engage the enterprise. This person must be personable, engaging, and enthusiastic about celebrating employees. The successful PVRRA will utilize employee surveys and best/top workplace campaigns to increase engagement. PVRRA has an exciting disposition and is a brand ambassador for the company. As an employee experience advocate, the PVRRA creates an environment that inspires employee retention. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions for the current model of CT, DC, DE, FL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, MA, TN, TX, VA, WA •Manage electronic timekeeping systems. •Automate manual and inefficient processes in the payroll cycle by implementing sustainable and scalable payroll solutions. •Lead Time and Attendance/Payroll function with acquisitions, including training designated leadership and associates. •Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll-related matters •Exports and reviews driver earnings, including gratuities and commissions, and submits to payroll vendor. •Ensures payroll and timekeeping policies and procedures are uniformly understood and consistently followed. •Assist with audits: 401k, Workers' Compensation, Benefits, etc. •Register for Withholding and Unemployment accounts for newly acquired entities/hires and provide them to payroll vendor. •Responds to unemployment requests from multiple states in a timely manner. May attend unemployment hearings except when associated with complex adverse employment decisions. •Possess strong financial aptitude with solid knowledge and understanding of multistate, multi-FEIN payrolls. •Responsible for employee milestone program, sending appropriate anniversary, baby, bereavement, engagement, and wedding acknowledgments. •Provided management with birthday and anniversary reports for their line of business. •Partners with the VP of Human Resources and CEO for biannual THM, including planning the awards ceremony and nomination process. •Seeks and completes engagement applications for company accolades. •Ensures confidentiality of RMA Worldwide Transportation's employees, client, vendor, and contractor information and data in full accordance with company policy guidelines or senior management directives. •Duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS • Some college or a relevant field experience •Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience •Minimum of 1 year of payroll experience with multi-state, multi-jurisdiction, and multiple job classes running concurrently •Full payroll responsibilities for multiple companies, running weekly and biweekly payrolls consisting of hourly (part-time and full-time), salaried, and salary-plus-commission employees. •Experience with ATS, HRIS, MS Office, MS Excel •Prepares and submits thorough and timely reports, including payroll reports •Sound knowledge of all time & attendance and compensation labor laws •Sound knowledge of employment guidelines (e.g., confidentiality act, fixed-term contracts, and agreement terms, etc.) •Ability to handle confidential information and maintain data integrity throughout the process. •Strong verbal & written, and on-screen communication skills •Ability to make quick decisions while working in a fast-paced environment. •Exceptional time-management and organizational skills •Marketing experience a plus •Travel required.
