Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Pawtucket, RI. This is a fully in-person position, ideal for someone with a strong background in construction payroll.Responsibilities: * Process and manage payroll for all employees * Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reports * Maintain and update payroll records * Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations * Prepare and submit certified payroll reports * Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accuracy and efficiencyPreferred Qualifications: * Experience in construction payroll * Strong understanding of job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reports * Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to handle confidential information with integrity * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulationsCompensation: * Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour * Flexible pay based on experience Physical demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
